Terms and conditions

Please read these terms and conditions carefully before using the Website. By using the Website or any part of it, including purchasing products and services, you agree that you have read these terms and conditions and that you accept and agree to be bound by them. This website ("www.dreamcake.com.hk"), operated by Dream Cake Limited (“Dream Cake”, "we", “our”, “us”), is available to you on the condition that you accept without modification the terms, conditions and notices contained herein.

Please note that all of our product and flavor are unique and meticulously hand-crafted by Pastry Chef, therefore we would produce in small quantities in order to maintain the finest quality, as always. Quota are limited, so it is recommended to place your order as early as possible to allow enough time to prepare.

Payment Methods

All of our pricing are stated in Hong Kong Dollars and the full amount must be settled within 2 days after order confirmation. Please be noted that the paid deposit is non-refundable or non-transferable in any circumstances. Please keep the Admittance Advice/Payment Slip and send the scanned copy to (852) 6771 5981 through WhatsApp) with providing your order name, order number, date of delivery and contact number as a proof of evidence. Please note that your order will not be deemed as SUCCESS until you have sent us a valid proof of your order transaction.


Amendment or Cancelation

Once your order has been placed, all requests for cancellation or change on the product type, design or wordings must be informed by phone or WhatsApp and confirmed by our staff at least 7 days in advance before delivery date. We reserve the final right to decline or accept the cancellation or changes subjected to availability. Please be noted that the paid deposit is non-refundable or non-transferable in any circumstances if the requested date is less than 7 days in advance.


Availability of Products

All of the products that are generally available on our website: www.dreamcake.com.hk. However, there is a likelihood that some products may be out of stock or unavailable as our products are unique and freshly hand crafted by Pastry Chef, therefore, available only in small quantities. Should you be interested in other specific items in addition to the catalogue, please give us a call before to confirm that the product is available. We reserve the right in the event of the unavailability of an item(s) to substitute an item(s) of equal or greater value with the consent of the customer. There is a possibility that the presentation of the gift items may be modified to insure proper delivery and handling.


Ways and Suggestions for Product Preservation

In the interest of food safety, please sure the food should be stored in 0°C to 4°C Refrigerator. To ensure food safety, please enjoy it within 24 hours.


Seasonal Availability

In case of supplies difficulties, we reserve the right to change fruit ingredient or other cake decoration depending on the seasonal and regional availability.


Pick up in Person

Customer can pick up the sweets at Factory Unit C, 4/F, Cantake Factory Building, No. 172 Wai Yip Street, Kowloon from 10:00 a.m. to 7:00 p.m. between Monday and Saturday / from 10:00AM to 1:00PM between Sunday and public holidays.

Customer is requested to examine the goods immediately upon delivery for any damages or deficiencies. Please lodge with our Customer Service Department at (852) 2191 7768 to exchange the goods if you find any damages or deficiencies. If customer has signed after receiving the goods, we reserves the right to refuse your request for any damages, loss or external factors that may occur after the product has been collected by client or after delivery. Should the customer authorize the 3rd person for collection, we will not assume responsibility for damage or loss of delivery.


Delivery Arrangement

Delivery is charged by region (door-to-door service charges$80). Please contact Customer Service for details of the service and details.

Please note that delivery time starts at 9:00 a.m. and the cake will be delivered to the venue before the party time. (The above party time does not represent the actual delivery time) Specified delivery time will charge an additional fee of HK$100.

Dream Cake commits to provide delivery service on time, therefore, the accuracy of the delivery information you provide is crucial in making sure that the products can be delivered properly. This ensures that our customers can enjoy our products for the full extent of their shelf life. We will not be held the responsibility for returns caused by incomplete or erroneous delivery instructions. Delivery service is available after confirmation of order and payment.

Dream Cake reserves the right to charge an additional delivery fee if the recipient is not available to accept delivery at the nominated the delivery time.

*Please understanding that the delivery times may be longer during busy holiday seasons such as (Chinese New Year, Valentine's Day, Mother and Father Day, Christmas, etc)

Customer is requested to call our service hotline at (852) 2191 7768 of any change or WhatsApp to their delivery address and time within 7 days prior to the delivery. Otherwise, we reserve the right to refuse the delivery of goods to any customer at our sole discretion absolutely.


Cake Delivery Arrangement under Typhoon & Rainstorm Warning

When Black Rainstorm Warning Signal or Typhoon Signal No. 8 or higher is raised, all delivery service including self-pick up service be temporary suspended until lower warning or typhoon signal is replaced. We will notice our customers by phone individually for further arrangement.

When Black Rainstorm Warning Signal is cancelled or Typhoon Signal No. 8 or higher is changed to lower typhoon signal, we will resume our delivery and self-pick up service. The operation will be resumed or delivery will be postponed to the next working day depending on the situation and time. Delivery or self-pick up arrangement be slightly delated. We will notice our customers by phone individually for further arrangement.


Food Allergy

We endeavors to maintain stringent service practices and depute out strict controls, we are unable to guarantee the absence which may cause allergic reactions, including eggs, gluten, soybeans, milk, nuts (or nut-based ingredients), peanut, etc in our products.


Comments, Suggestion and Complaint Handling

Dream Cake strive the excellent food and service to our customer, your valuable opinion is important to us for continuous improvement. Should you have any comments, suggestions, criticism or complaint, please do not hesitate to contact our Customer Service hotline during office working time or by email.

Customers receiving the products from us should inspect it upon receipt to make sure it is consistent with the order and that there are no obvious flaws. Damage claims should be clearly recorded, dated and signed on the delivery invoice.

All claims must be made immediately after the delivery. Claims received by Dream Cake after longer delays may not be honored and accepted. All claims must be motivated and accompanied by a written explanation of the problem together with picture, contact information and original receipt as well as the damages occasioned thereby. After conducting an in-depth investigation, we will reply the customer as soon as possible and at its own discretion will determine the appropriate remedy.


Force Majeure

We shall not be liable for any delay or failure in its performance caused by or resulting from acts of God, fire, flood, accident, embargoes, revolution, riot, war, government intervention, strikes, labour difficulties, equipment failures, or any other causes beyond the control of company.


Guarantee of Quality and Presentation

All visual and picture are for reference only. Dream Cake do not guarantee to match the exact colour and design as same as chosen due to the fact that every cake is every cake is uniquely customized by our Chef and may vary despite every effort being made.


Product Publishing for Promotional Purpose

Dream Cake has the right to publish the product for promotional purpose. For customer who needs to opt out from posting, please notify us and your product ordered will not be posted.


In case of disputes, the decision of Dream Cake shall be final and binding. We may revise these terms and conditions at any time without prior notice.


In the event of any discrepancy or inconsistency between the English and Chinese version of this Terms and Conditions, the Chinese version shall apply and prevail.
